  - I always visit Foodexpo because it is the perfect forum for me to get updated with the latest trends within food and beverages as well as equipment. I also visit the fair to see the professional competitions which are taking place during the fair.

- I am visiting Foodexpo to see the latest trends, to network and to get inspiration. In this industry, these are important facts and they are being fulfilled at Foodexpo. For that reason, I also invite my staff to the fair in order to update them on the latest news like Nordic food right now.

  - Again MCH and the Foodexpo exhibitors have gone beyond themselves. At Foodexpo 2012 it was again possible for all professionals in the industry to get great inspiration. A "must see" for everybody and personally I already look forward to the fair in 2014.

- I think that all professionals within foodservice & catering, hotel & restaurant, and retail trade should visit Foodexpo. The exhibitors at Foodexpo show all the news and trends in the industry. If you do not visit Foodexpo, you will miss out on current as well as future trends. During the visit, you have the opportunity to meet other professionals within your industry and as we all know networking is important. Besides new trends and networking, you are able to experience different professional competitions. Competitions where the best within different indutries show their talents. I will definitely allot at least one day to visit Foodexpo.
The new initiative at Foodexpo 2012 with 3 fair days instead of 4 served also its purpose and made the fair more intensive and concentrated.

Jakob la Cour, Tivoli AS   Jakob la Cour, head of procurement, Tivoli AS

- Foodexpo is interesting for Tivoli as a company partly because there is a great attendance of suppliers but also because of the opportunity to get some "alone" time with exciting and new suppliers.
It is imporant for a company to be in permanent development and  in that connection we consider Foodexpo as being an organised and well-attended gathering point which contributes to this point of view.

  - Admitted, Herning is simply far away from Hørsholm. When I take the trip anyway, it is because it is worth the trip. And when it comes to Foodexpo in Herning it is. By gathering all relevant business partners and suppliers in the industry, MCH Messecenter Herning succeeds in offering an effective and relevant trade fair for both large and small grocers.
I always get inspired and I often meet a new exciting supplier which has exactly what I need for my customers. If we are planning new implements, convenience packaging or production machines, it is easy to get an overview and to create contact.
It is also always nice to meet colleagues and get a professional talk – and that is also possible at Foodexpo.

Gitte Breum, Glostrup hospital   Gitte Breum, chef, Glostrup Hospital
  - As a chef of a large kitchen, it is important to be updated with the trends within food, meal solutions, systems and knowledge. At Foodexpo I get professional inspiration and I am able to meet with colleagues and business partners. Exactly the combination of networking and getting knowledge and inspiration is the reason why I spend my time on visiting Foodexpo.

- Foodexpo 2012 fully meet with the expectations I in advance had for the fair, as the most attractive food fair in Denmark.
With the new set-up the fair became both more dynamic and exciting and offered more worth seeing theme areas with a number of inspiring exhibitors. Added to this a number of Nordic and Danish championships was arranged and carried through by the individual trade associations.
As a chairman for Danish Master Butchers I was pleased over the location of the association in hall J1, where lot of visitors participated in the audience judgement of Danish Master Butchers 3 professional competitions: "The best Salami in Denmark", "The best rolled seasoned meat in Denmark" and "The best liver sausage in Denmark", but also the 33 exhibitors at the Gastronomy Market with unique and delicious niche products contributed to the fact that hall J hum with activity during the entire fair.
With reduction of the fair to 3 days the 21.783 visitors created a fair with a lot of spirit, atmosphere and experiences, and beside of a lot of exciting in-puts from the many exhibitors I also had the opportunity to have a nice collegial and professional talk with the many operators in the industry.

  - Foodexpo is very interesting for me and our industry because it contains everything our company needs. At the trade fair, everything within catering centre is beeing exhibited and there are no such thing that you can not find there. In the food area, you are able to find everything from the fresh ingredients to the frozen food which also apply for the industry. We are always able to find new and clever packaging for our fish shops so that part of the fair is also suitable for our industry.
We have attended almost all the Foodexpo fairs and we find new and interesting things for our shops every time we are there. In this way, our customers also see new initiatives taking place in our shop.

- My visit at Foodexpo 2012 was as usual a good and nice experience. I am especially pleased to see that the organic stand is still getting bigger. It promises well for the development in food quality, animal welfare and sustainability. Furthermore a lot of other suppliers had brought organic procucts so it is moving in the right direction.
There is a tendency to products in general are being more authentic, less fatty and more healty, which I am very pleased to see.

The apprentice competitions for chefs was a pleasure to follow. The standard was high and I had to visit the competitions more than once to see the skilled chefs in action.

I noticed the new initiatives and achieved to visit Speakers Corner as well. I think it was well presented and it gave the fair a boost.

Credit to the many suppliers that chose to come. It should be a good investment in the long run.

All together it was a good fair with an optimistic atmosphere and a lot of reunions with previous colleagues from the industry.

  - The best thing about Foodexpo is that the whole industry - including machines, kitchen gear, etc. - is gathered in Herning. In a busy life, it is very important to gather the threads at a fair like this, without having to spend a lot of unnecessary time and ressources. That is what makes Foodexpo in Herning unique.
Furthermore, the venue is good and the locations are foreseeable, spacious and available both inside and outside. When it comes to news as well as professionally, Foodexpo is a fair that I am looking forward to, and it is the place to create networks across the branches.

  - It is interesting to me to visit Foodexpo because it gives me an insight in the world of my suppliers. It is a good and effective way to keep my company updated so that we are always able to offer the best product to our guests.
Without Foodexpo, I would have to spend a lot of time on transport, getting offers and the like. At Foodexpo, you can always make a good deal and at the same time, you are able to plan the purchases for the coming year.

  - I am convinced that it is important to keep yourself informed and updated on the development within the industry. That is one of the reasons why I visit Foodexpo.

I like to meet suppliers, colleagues and competitors in a noncommittal environment in order to discuss the approaches and challenges that we experience in Denmark.

To me, Foodexpo gives me the opportunity to see how things can be done in an easier way and to see the news and upcomings which can be difficult in a busy daily life. Everyone is very busy in their job. Often one day takes the next and then the routines appear - we used to do this and this and so on.
This one day every other year where Foodexpo takes place, we have the opportunity to avoid getting in this routine and at the same time, we are able to see the news within the industry. It is also possible to see the apprendicts competing against each other,

You always meet old colleagues and it is good to hear how things are going for them. In short, it is possible to network with other peopleat ones level while learning from others.

Michael Hjort, Baker, Michael H Konditoriet
  - Visiting Foodexpo is interesting to me because it is important to keep myself updated on what is going on in the food industry. Not many bakery suppliers are represented but our competitors are there, and it is important to follow up on where they put their focus and to see how skilled they have become.
They are only getting better and better so it is important to know how far they have reached.
There are always lots of news and if you are not there, you will not be able to see and taste them. If even only one thing to bring back home, it is worth the visit.

  - I visit Foodexpo to  keep  updated with the development in the industry, to feel the new trends and see  in  which direction the market  is developing.
It is both within food and beverages but indeed also within hardware and all the new possibilities which the development herein offers.
At Foodexpo,  it is possible to find inspiration and new ideas and to nurse your network at the same place.

Thomas Keller, Roskilde Festival   Thomas Keller, Manager of Trade, Roskilde Festival
- I visit Foodexpo in Herning Messecenter to be updated with the development in the industry, to see the news and to see which ways the industry is going. It is both within Food & Beverage, but there is also at lot of interesting things within machines and accesories. I use the inspiration in my dialogue with our partners regarding development.

- I am looking forward to visiting Foodexpo and to say hello to current and potential suppliers and partners. For me it is a good opportunity to make a break in a bussy weekday and together with my team to focus 100 % at the possibility for growth, innovation and optimisation in general.
Beside of this we of course expect to have a fun and inspiring day together in Jutland.
I most certain also expect that we will come back to Copenhagen with ideas for new products and equipment.
See you in Herning!

- I have great expectations for my visit at Foodexpo 2012. There has been a lot of positive  talking  about the fair and  from my visit, I expect among other things to get inspired about products. Of course,  it also  gives the opportunity to shake hands with current and former suppliers and to  network in informal surroundings. At the fair, I als
